Medline is a large US database of medical information. Other subjects covered include dentistry, veterinary medicine, medical psychology, genetics and advanced nursing practice. The database covers over 5,000 journals from 70 countries.
How do I use Medline?
You can search Medline by looking for keywords in the title/abstract of documents or search by author name.
You can also search for information on a particular subject by using the thesaurus.
What does Medline do?
Medline contains references to journal articles, guidelines, manuscripts, dissertations and book chapters.
This authoritative resource also contains full text access to many journals in the field of medicine, nursing and allied health.
Do I need a password?
Access to Medline requires an NHS OpenAthens Username and Password.
