These tools provide summaries of the current state of knowledge about interventions used to prevent and treat clinical conditions. 

An OpenAthens account is required to access the tools marked with an asterisk(*).

BestBets

BestBets (BETs) provides answers to very specific clinical problems, using the best available evidence. BETs are designed specifically for Emergency Medicine.

BMJ Best Practice*

BMJ Best Practice is a decision-support tool for use at the point of care. Structured around the patient consultation, it presents the required information just as it’s needed.

Clinical Key (LTHT Staff Only)

Clinical Key is linked on PPM+, the app launcher page of LTHT intranet and it is available to download as a mobile app on Google Play and the App store. You are automatically logged in to the Clinical Key website on the LTHT network and can log in off site/ on your personal devices with Open Athens logins.

NICE Clinical Knowledge Summaries

The NICE CKS service provides primary care practitioners with a readily accessible summary of the current evidence base and practical guidance on best practice in respect of over 300 common and/or significant primary care presentations.
