Blind Date with a Book

Blind date with a book

Whether its a a murder mystery or a period drama, a reading break will contribute to your mental well-being and broaden your literary horizons. Take a risk and try something new this Valentine's Day.

How does it work?

Email or drop in the library and let one of our staff choose a pre-wrapped book for you. Take it away and read it at your leisure. After your allotted time send/drop it back to us and let is know your thoughts on our Padlet below.

All you need to do is be a member of the library or sign up on the day!

Every participant is put into a prize draw, so you could get the chance of winning some goodies too!

Make up or break up with the library.

Here at LTHT library we are really keen to shape our services to suit our users’ needs. Write us a Valentine's letter letting us know what you love about our library. It could be the study spaces, the journal selection or our book club.

Or if you think we need to improve areas. Write us a breakup letter. Do you think our library layout needs changing? Let us know in a letter.

How does it work?

Pop in to our LGI, St James or Bexley site and help yourself to our Valentine's stationery. Once anonymously written, post it in our postbox. Help yourself to treats while you’re here.

Any feedback you can give us, will help us to improve our services.
