Contact the University of Leeds Library Service

  • As a member of staff at Leeds Teaching Hospital Trust you are also entitled to join the University of Leeds library service.  See Membership and Admissions for further information about your entitlement.
  • University library membership is separate to your registration with Leeds Teaching Hospitals Trust NHS Library and Information Service. You will need to visit for the first time during the University of Leeds libraries' 'core hours', and will need to bring your Trust ID with you.
  • Once registered, your university library user card allows access to any of the University Library sites during their opening hours (please check the University Library website carefully for the opening hours of each site as these vary throughout the academic year). During university term time, the university library opening hours usually include the evenings and weekends.
  • Health Sciences Library is on level 7 of the Worsley Building, adjoining Leeds Dental Institute. It contains the University Library’s main medical and health-related collections, and before 6.30pm Monday-Friday it can be accessed directly from Clarendon Wing (see directions). Alternatively for disabled access, we would reccomend the disabled parking at the Leeds Dental Institute and following the lift route up to the library (see directions).
  • Access when the library is open after 6.30pm and at weekends is from the university campus only. Go via the sustainable garden behind Roger Stevens Building and along the walkway beside the Garstang Building. Scan your university library card to enter or press the intercom button for library help.
