Leeds Teaching Hospitals NHS Trust

We are the specialist library service for staff and students on placement in Leeds Teaching Hospitals Trust.

We support LTHT people wherever they work, and offer library facilities across three hospital sites. We also work with the University of Leeds Library service to provide additional services and facilities to all Trust staff.

Leeds Teaching Hospitals Trust staff benefit from the full range of services and resources offered by Leeds Libraries for Health, as well as the services highlighted on this page.

  • Once registered, your university library user card allows access to any of the University Library sites during their opening hours (please check the University Library website carefully for the opening hours of each site as these vary throughout the academic year). During university term time, the university library opening hours usually include the evenings and weekends.
  • Health Sciences Library is on level 7 of the Worsley Building, adjoining Leeds Dental Institute. It contains the University Library‚Äôs main medical and health-related collections, and before 6.30pm Monday-Friday it can be accessed directly from Clarendon Wing (see directions).
  • Access when the library is open after 6.30pm and at weekends is from the university campus only. Go via the sustainable garden behind Roger Stevens Building and along the walkway beside the Garstang Building.
